Doctor of Theology (Th.D.)

Founder & President of Global Fellowship of Churches, Global Fellowship Theological Seminary, and Global Fellowship Television

Introduction

Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome, Doctor of Theology (Th.D.), is a Christian minister, theologian, visionary, and organizational leader whose ministry journey began in 2009. From the beginning of his calling, he has pursued a vision of serving Jesus Christ, strengthening the Church, equipping Christian leaders, advancing theological education, and proclaiming the Gospel across nations.

Over the years, this vision has developed into a broader ministry movement that includes the Global Fellowship of Churches (GFC), Global Fellowship Theological Seminary (GFTS), and Global Fellowship Television (GFTV). These ministries represent interconnected areas of Christian service—church fellowship, theological education, leadership development, evangelism, missions, and Christian media.

Ministry Journey Beginning in 2009

Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome began his ministry journey in 2009, dedicating himself to Christian ministry and the advancement of the Gospel. His early years of ministry established the foundation for a larger vision: to encourage churches and ministers to work together, to prepare Christian leaders through theological education, and to use modern communication platforms to make biblical teaching and the message of Christ accessible to a wider audience.

Since that beginning, his ministry vision has continued to develop with an emphasis on faithfulness to Scripture, servant leadership, spiritual formation, Christian fellowship, evangelism, missions, and theological preparation.

His journey may be understood as a progression from personal ministry calling toward a wider institutional and international ministry vision.

Founder & President of Global Fellowship of Churches

Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome is the Founder and President of the Global Fellowship of Churches (GFC).

The Global Fellowship of Churches is established around a vision of Christian fellowship and cooperation, bringing churches, pastors, ministers, evangelists, missionaries, Christian leaders, and ministry organizations together for the advancement of the Gospel.

The fellowship seeks to promote:

Christian fellowship and unity
Evangelism and missions

At the heart of this vision is the conviction that followers of Jesus Christ are called to serve together as members of one spiritual body and to participate in the Great Commission.

GFTV reflects the conviction that Christian communication can extend ministry beyond the walls of a local church. Through media, biblical teaching and Christian messages can reach audiences across regions and nations.

The ministry may serve areas such as:

Gospel preaching and evangelism
Christian teaching and discipleship
Biblical and theological programs
Interviews and Christian discussions
Testimonies and ministry stories
Mission and church programs

International fellowship and communication

Through GFTV, the ministry seeks to utilize contemporary media as a means of communicating the timeless message of Jesus Christ.

Theological and Leadership Vision

As a Doctor of Theology, Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome's ministry emphasizes the importance of grounding Christian leadership and ministry in the Word of God. His vision seeks to bring together theological reflection and practical Christian service.

Several principles characterize this vision:

Christ-Centered Ministry

Jesus Christ is the center of Christian faith, preaching, discipleship, worship, leadership, and mission.

Biblical Foundation

The Holy Scriptures provide the fundamental basis for Christian doctrine, teaching, ethics, ministry, and spiritual life.

Servant Leadership

Christian leadership is understood not merely as authority but as a responsibility to serve, equip, encourage, and build up God's people.

Christian Fellowship

Churches and Christian leaders are encouraged to cooperate in love, fellowship, prayer, and mission while remaining faithful to biblical truth.

Global Mission

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for all nations, and the Church has a continuing responsibility to proclaim Christ, make disciples, and serve communities.

Theological Education

Strong theological preparation is essential for pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists, and other Christian leaders who are entrusted with ministry responsibilities.

Commitment to the Great Commission

A central dimension of Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome's ministry vision is the Great Commission of Jesus Christ:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19

This calling provides a foundation for the work of churches, theological education, missions, and Christian media. The purpose of ministry is not simply institutional development but the proclamation of Christ and the building up of His Church.

Ministry Since 2009 and Looking Ahead

Since beginning his ministry journey in 2009, Rev. Dr. Azar Jerome has pursued a continuing vision of developing Christian ministries that can serve the Church at local, national, and international levels.

His leadership of the Global Fellowship of Churches, Global Fellowship Theological Seminary, and Global Fellowship Television reflects a desire to establish a strong framework through which churches can fellowship, leaders can be trained, the Gospel can be communicated, and Christian mission can be advanced.

Looking toward the future, the vision remains focused on equipping the next generation of Christian leaders, strengthening churches, expanding theological education, supporting missions and evangelism, and using media and technology to communicate the Gospel throughout the world.
